Ekco manufactured this 6 Valve table receiver in 1957. Housed in dark walnut veneered wooden case with gold trim. This radio featured 3 reception wavebands, medium, long and VHF selected by means of a rotary switch. A ferrite rod aerial is fitted inside to improve MW & LW reception plus a wire dipole aerial for FM reception. On the cabinet back sockets were provided for the connection of external antennas, earth, gram pick-up and an extension loudspeaker.
The retail selling price was £18.17s.8d plus purchase tax.
