Ekco manufactured this 5 Valve Superhet receiver in 1949. Housed in a moulded bakelite case. This radio featured 3 reception wavebands medium, long wave and short selectable by means of a rotary wave change switch. Additional sockets at the rear are fitted for a tape recorder, extension loudspeaker, external aerial and earth connections.

This receiver has undergone a complete restoration in our museum workshop and is now in full working order.
