This 4-valve Battery operated superhet was first manufactured in 1947. Housed in a brown bakelite cabinet it had long and medium waveband selection. It needed two batteries installed to power it (a 90volt ht. and a 1.5volt dry battery or accumulator). An internal frame aerial fitted to aid reception.

The retail-selling price for this model was £13.5s.0d plus purchase tax.
