The Snellings Museum is an online museum created to preserve and share our extensive collection of historical photographs, documents, catalogues and artefacts with everyone who has an interest in the history of Snellings and the electrical retail industry.

Unfortunately, we do not have a physical museum that is open to visitors. The website was created because our collection has grown far beyond what could realistically be displayed or maintained in a permanent public exhibition. By making the collection available online, we can preserve its history and make it accessible to a much wider audience.

We are always pleased to hear from people who share our interest in local history and the heritage of the electrical industry. However, due to the size of our existing collection and limited storage capacity, we are unable to accept donations of artefacts, memorabilia or historical items, and we are not seeking to purchase additional items for the museum’s collection.

We kindly ask that you do not send or bring artefacts to us without prior arrangement, as we are unfortunately unable to accept them.
