This 5-valve set housed in a walnut veneered plywood cabinet was first manufactured in 1953. Good reception was possible on the long, medium and shortwave bands with this set when a good external aerial and earth were connected to sockets on the back.

Extension sockets were also provided for the connection of a gramophone pick up and extension loudspeaker on the rear of this set.
