1954
McMichael manufactured this 5 Valve receiver in 1954. Housed in a light walnut veneered wooden cabinet. This radio featured 4 reception wavebands, medium wave long & 2 short wave bands selected by means of a rotary switch. To assist tuning a slow motion drive and a magic eye indicator was incorporated on the front of the set. Extension sockets at the rear were provided for a gram, speaker, aerial and earth connections. This receiver has undergone a complete restoration in our museum workshop and is now in full working order.
