Manufactured by McMichael in 1937. This 6 valve superhet was housed in a wooden veneered cabinet with an art deco inlaid design. This set featured 3 reception wavebands, medium long and short selected by means of a rotary switch. Twin loudspeakers were fitted which was an unusual feature at the time. A magic eye indicator on the front of the set assisted tuning. Extension sockets at the rear were provided for gram pick-up, extension speaker, aerial and earth connections.
The retail-selling price was £14.7s.0d.
