Manufactured in 1937 by Balcombe Ltd.of London this 5 Valve radio is housed in a light two-tone walnut inlaid veneered wooden cabinet A 4 way rotary switch is used to select between the long, medium, short and gram input. To assist tuning a slow motion drive mechanism was incorporated. At the rear of the set a speech and hum neutraliser loudspeaker adjuster control was fitted.
Extension sockets are provided for a remote speaker, aerial and earth plus gram pick-up connections.
