Murphy manufactured this 4 Valve radio in 1936.The cabinet was designed by R.D.Russell, the front covered in two contrasting light walnut veneers Walnut & Zebrano. The cabinet sides were coated in a dark contrasting varnish. The control knobs and tuning escutcheon window are moulded in black bakelite.
