Manufactured in 1957 by EverReady Ltd. at their Poole works. This 4 Valve portable radio shaped like a jewel case or treasure chest. The cabinet with its gilded gold coloured fittings was aimed at the luxury end of the market. A ferrite rod aerial fitted inside enabled this radio to receive signals on the long and medium wavebands. The loudspeaker was hidden in the lid. EverReady Ltd ceased radio production in 1968 to concentrate more on battery production.

The retail-selling price for this model was £ purchase tax.
