This 4-valve receiver was first introduced in 1951. Philips produced several versions of this model both in England and from their Eindhoven factory in Holland with different model numbers.

Housed in a moulded two tone Bakelite case this set was able to receive both the Medium and Longwave bands and could run direct from the mains supply or internal batteries for portable use.
