Manufactured by the Dulci Company Ltd. of London this was one of most popular kit sets produced throughout the 1950s and 60s, and advertised as kits or complete units in magazines like "Practical Wireless". At this time a revival of interest in Crystal set construction was seen. This was mainly due to the availability of the crystal diode a stable device, which replaced the former cat’s whisker, a device that was subject to vibration which would cause the signal to be lost.

The set has a Dilecon tuning capacitor, a supplied wound coil and a Germanium crystal diode.
