This six valve receiver was manufactured in London in 1946 and is able to tune on the medium, long and short wave bands. It is unusual in the fact that the chassis has been chrome plated and the set has a glass cabinet back so as to proudly display its inernal workings. The chassis was built in three seperate modules then bolted together during final assembly.

The large tuning knob is a vernier slow motion type with a fine tuning mechanism built into it, which proves to be very beneficial when tuning the short wave bands.
