GEC manufactured this 6 Valve table receiver in 1959. Housed in a two tone bakelite moulded case, this radio featured 3 reception wavebands, medium, long and VHF selected by means of a rotary switch. A ferrite rod aerial is fitted inside to improve MW & LW reception plus a wire diapole aerial for FM reception. On the cabinet back sockets were provided for the connection of external antennas, earth and an extension loudspeaker.
The retail selling price was £15.10s.0d plus purchase tax.
