1950s
This 5-valve receiver was first introduced in 1953. Housed in a moulded Bakelite case. It was able to tune the Medium and Long wavebands. A two position switched control was used to alter the tone of the audio on this set.
An internal ferrite rod aerial was also featured for easy reception.
