This 6-Valve AC mains table model was manufactured in 1955 by Kolster-Brandes of Footscray Kent. The cabinet surface is covered in a dark two-tone walnut veneer. This radio featured 3 reception wavebands, medium, long and VHF selected by means of a rotary switch. Internal aerials include a ferrite rod for MW & LW and a VHF dipole for reception of local FM stations. Extension sockets at the rear were provided for gram pick-up, speaker, aerial and earth connections.
