This 5-valve receiver manufactured by Ekco was first introduced in 1950. Housed in a cream moulded plastic case with integral carrying handle.The set could receive both the Medium and Long wavebands, a slide switch under the tuning scale is used to select the bands. Internal frame aerials provided signal reception on both bands.
