Manufactured by Sobell in 1950 this 4-Valve radio was housed in a walnut wooden cabinet. This radio featured 3 reception wavebands, medium long and short wave selected by means of a slide switch mounted under the tuning dial. Extension sockets at the rear were provided for a gram pick-up also aerial and earth connections. This receiver has undergone a complete restoration in our museum workshop and is now in full working order.
The retail-selling price was £17.5s.11d plus purchase tax.
